Elite 2021 RB Lovasea Carroll names 6 SEC schools among his top 8

Lovasea Carroll, a 4-star running back in the 2021 class, was at one time committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Now, the Georgia native doesn’t even have them among his top 8 schools — a list which he released on Thursday morning.
As you can see below, it is still an SEC-heavy list, with 6 SEC teams — Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State — still in contention:

Those 6 SEC schools will compete with a pair of Big Ten programs — Penn State and Ohio State — for Carroll’s services in 2020 and beyond.
Per the 247Sports composite ratings, Carroll is the No. 8 running back in the class of 2021 and the No. 19 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
