Elite? Fans praise Stetson Bennett IV following impressive performance vs. LSU

Is Stetson Bennett a Heisman-level quarterback?

Sometimes it’s hard to tell. Bennett has certainly taken a step from last year’s national championship team, a dangerous though when considering a possible Georgia repeat. Fact is, Bennett threw for 274 yards and 4 touchdowns on the day.

Fans have graduated from calling him a good quarterback to calling him truly elite and a potential Heisman candidate after Georgia’s 50-30 win over the Tigers.

They took to social media to get their takes off after Georgia’s first SEC Championship victory since 2017.

I’m entirely convinced that given the same coaching and same set of weapons surrounding him…that Stetson Bennett would be just as good as…if not better than…Drew Brees.
