The LSU Tigers picked up a big-time addition to their 2019 recruiting class Wednesday morning.

Four-star WR Trey Palmer committed to LSU over offers from Arizona State, Alabama and Auburn, among others. Palmer is ranked as the nation’s No. 23 overall WR and the state’s No. 7 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The 6-foot, 179-pound pass catcher is from Kentwood, Louisiana, and he became the Tigers’ first WR commit in the recruiting class. With Pallmer’s verbal pledge, LSU now has 19 commitments for the class of 2019.
