Coaches often talk about their players as if they’re family. In fact, preaching family values is something that most coaches do.
But, for Indiana coach Tom Allen, it goes even deeper, because his son, Thomas, is actually a linebacker for the Hoosiers.
On Saturday afternoon against Michigan State, the younger Allen was carted off with an injury. But, before he left the field, his dad gave him an emotional hug:

There’s no word yet on Allen’s injury, but any time you’re carted off like that, it’s probably not good.
Indiana currently holds a 24-0 lead at Michigan State early in the fourth quarter, looking to improve to a perfect 4-0 on the season.
