Eric Shaw, former South Carolina wide receiver, reveals transfer destination

Eric Shaw was one of a few South Carolina players to enter the NCAA transfer portal following spring practices.
Many of the others have announced their new schools and, on Tuesday, Shaw also made his decision for where he’ll play in 2022.
As you can see below, Shaw took to Twitter to reveal he was heading to the Sun Belt to suit up for the Troy Trojans starting this fall:

Shaw was a former 4-star recruit and a member of the Gamecocks’ 2020 recruiting class. He appeared in 8 games the past 2 seasons, but has yet to record any statistics.
We’ll see how he fares at Troy this fall, where he figures to have more opportunities to get on the field.
