ESPN: 3 SEC schools among top 4 teams with strength of record

After last night’s big win over No. 3 Louisville, the Clemson Tigers top ESPN’s rankings of college teams with the best strength of record.
But, behind the Tigers are three SEC teams, starting with Texas A&M:

Alabama checks in at No. 3 on the list, followed by Tennessee at No. 4.
While Clemson’s schedule gets a bit easier until an Oct. 29 showdown at Florida State, Alabama takes on a ranked Arkansas squad next weekend and the Aggies and Vols square off in College Station.
Whichever team wins that Tennessee-Texas A&M game next week is likely to vault to the top of the rankings next week.
