ESPN had to alter its broadcast of Auburn at No. 9 Ole Miss on Saturday.
With a storm in the area, ESPN had its camera operators seek shelter. ESPN made the move before players were pulled off the field.

Meanwhile in Oxford, the ESPN camera operators have been told to take shelter because of a nearby storm but the game is still going on. And a fan just ran out onto the field.

For a brief period, ESPN presented the game from an atypical angle, closer to the “Skycast” option sometimes provided for an alternate broadcast or an All-22 view.

@espn, @SECNetwork @danorlovsky7 what has happened to the camera coverage of the ole miss game? Looks like a 10th grade A/V student standing on top of the stadium with a VHS video camera.

Presumably, the storm passes for play to resume, ESPN can go back to a normal broadcast. No. 9 Ole Miss leads Auburn 48-34 in the 4th quarter.
