ESPN announces new multi-year deal with Cam Newton

Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is getting a new multi-year deal with ESPN, the company announced on Wedneday in a press release. Newton will have a larger role on First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim,
Newton will appear on First Take’s live show at Norfolk State University, which is part of the HBCU tour. The former NFL MVP and Heisman Trophy winner is looking forward to continuing to grow in his broadcasting career.

In addition to his ESPN duties, Newton also hosts a pair of podcasts, Funky Friday and 4th & 1. ESPN brass believes Newton has the potential to be a massive star for years to come with the network.
