ESPN announces special SportsCenter lineup, Parris Island show to honor veterans

ESPN is doing something special this year leading up to Veterans Day.
Veterans Day is annually celebrated in the U.S. to honor those men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. This year, Veterans Day will fall on a Saturday which will provide an awesome setting for college football.
Vanderbilt has already unveiled special uniforms for a Salute to Service Saturday. The Army, Navy, and Air Force academies will also get the awesome opportunity to play a home game on Veterans Day.
This weekend should be a special one for fans and military members everywhere, and ESPN announced a special lineup for this week leading up to Saturday.

“ESPN is proud to dedicate a week of multiplatform content, volunteer efforts and financial support to honor our veterans and active military. These incredible men and women who have served and continue to serve the United States include our employees, our family members, and of course our fans,” said Kevin Martinez, ESPN vice president of Corporate Citizenship.
The highlight of the week will feature SportsCenter airing live on location at Parris Island, South Carolina on Friday. ESPN PR on Twitter shared some of the special highlights that will air during the special SportsCenter episode:
