ESPN has made the most of a lopsided College Football Playoff championship game, with Georgia absolutely crushing TCU.
But in the fourth quarter, when Georgia took out star QB Stetson Bennett IV to give him a curtain call, ESPN made the curious decision to cut to commercial after a few seconds.
Here was the moment that was shown on the broadcast:

Let’s just say Georgia fans weren’t too happy with the decision to be shown a Chick-fil-A commercial instead of the rest of Bennett’s special moment.
Here was some of the reaction from fans who were none too happy with the Worldwide Leader:

@espn going to commercial during Stetsons Bennetts send off is down right disrespectful and ridiculous

For the amount of love espn gave @StetsonIv you think they would want to highlight his curtain call instead of a half sentence and straight to commercial

@espn REALLY!!!!@StetsonIv gets his well deserved curtain call as a 2x National Champion QB and you cut to a Chic-fil-a Commercial.

Later in the quarter, ESPN again cut to commercial when Georgia was taking out its defensive stars.
