ESPN is leaving its old graphics package in 2020.

When the calendar flips over at midnight, ESPN will have a new set of graphics for the College Football Playoff.

That looks to be a marked improvement, so good for ESPN.

Both College Football Playoff semifinals will take place on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

It will be Alabama vs. Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl for the early game and Clemson vs. Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl in the night cap.

The Crimson Tide and Tigers are big favorites to win those semifinal matchups and meet in the championship once again.

The National Championship Game is on Jan. 11, 2021.
