Michael Smith’s stint on SportsCenter didn’t last much longer than his former partner’s. Not long after Jemele Hill left the show, ESPN has announced Smith is also leaving the program.
ESPN signed the two anchors to a multi-year SportsCenter deal just 13 months ago but announced Friday that both will be gone from the program following the latest edition of the show. Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch broke the news of Smith’s departure from SportsCenter on Thursday.
