ESPN has a new anthem for Monday Night Football in 2023.
The new anthem is a cover of Phil Collins’ classic “In the Air Tonight” featuring Chris Stapleton, Cindy B Santana and Snoop Dogg. Stapleton covers Collins’ lyrics to the song while Santana and Snoop Dogg add their own flair to the classic hit.
Additionally, Monday Night Football’s ‘Heavy Action’ theme will still be apart of the intro as well.

“In the Air Tonight” has long had an association with football. Former Steelers great Hines Ward had this to say about the classic, via ESPN:
“It was fascinating to me to see how one song could get you in that mode to go kick some tail.”
The new anthem debuted back in Week 1 when ESPN’s presented a double-header on Monday Night Football. The intro led fans into both games that night — Saints-Panthers and Browns-Steelers.
ESPN has broadcast Monday Night Football since 2006.
