The basketball season is starting to heat up, with conference play just around the corner.

On Monday, ESPN expert Joe Lunardi updated his bracketology, and he included 5 SEC teams in the field of 68.

Auburn — the last undefeated team from a major conference — is a No. 2 seed. Meanwhile, LSU is among the first four teams to miss the field:

  • Auburn — No. 2 seed (South)
  • Kentucky — No. 6 seed (East)
  • Tennessee — No. 8 seed (Midwest)
  • Florida — No. 10 seed (West)
  • Arkansas — No. 12 seed (South)
  • LSU — First Four Out

Conference play will be tough, so there will be plenty of changes to these predictions. For now, though, it shows that a lot of SEC squads have some work to do.
