The Week 1 schedule has almost drawn to a close, with only LSU-Florida State on Sunday night and Clemson-Georgia Tech on Monday night left to round out the Labor Day weekend slate.
As we look ahead to Week 2, ESPN’s experts predicted their College Football Playoff fields following the Week 1 action.
As you can see below, all 13 ESPN experts had Georgia and Alabama in their CFP fields, with Bill Connelly also including Arkansas and Tom VanHaaren having Texas A&M in the mix:
At this point in the season, Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State are all unanimous picks, but the fourth spot is currently where some disagreement comes in.
We’ll see how Clemson performs on Monday night against the Yellow Jackets. If the Tigers play well, it could lead to a consensus on all 4 teams at this young stage of the season.
