Week 2 of the college football season brought some results that could have long-term meaning when it comes to the College Football Playoff.

Most notable, of course, was No. 3 Ohio State’s home loss to No. 12 Oregon. Additionally, playoff contenders Texas A&M and Notre Dame suffered scares on Saturday before escaping with come-from-behind wins.

How did Week 2 influence ESPN’s panel of 12 college football experts when it comes to their playoff picks?

As you can see below, Ohio State fell out of the top-4 for all 12 panelists, while Oregon moved in for 11 of the 12. Also of note, Alabama and Georgia now rank 1-2 for each of the analysts.

Obviously, there’s still a lot of football left to be played, but this is a good look at where things stand after some big Week 2 games and results.

How will things change this coming week?
