ESPN experts update College Football Playoff projections after Week 9

College football’s Week 9 didn’t see as much drama within the Top 25 as the week prior, but there were plenty of meaningful outcomes that will shuffle the proverbial deck of potential College Football Playoff teams.

No. 13 Oklahoma’s 34-26 loss to No. 8 Ole Miss puts the Sooners in a tough spot moving forward, as does No. 15 Missouri’s 17-10 loss to No. 10 Vanderbilt. No. 11 BYU managed to remain unbeaten and keep pace with a 41-27 victory over Iowa State, and No. 18 South Florida’s 34-31 road loss at Memphis throws a kink into the Group of 5 representative conversation.
