ESPN experts update their College Football Playoff picks following Saturday’s action

The 2020 season is well underway in 3 of the Power 5 conferences, and the Big Ten and Pac-12 are getting ready to resume in a few weeks.

Already, there have been some outstanding and dominant performances from many of the top teams in the country.

After Saturday’s action, ESPN’s panel of 14 college football experts picked which teams they’d have in their Playoff fields if the season ended today. As you can see below, all but 1 expert had at least 2 SEC teams in the field:

Having Ohio State in the mix without playing a game is interesting, but there’s no denying that the Buckeyes are one of the top teams on paper.

We’ll see how things change after another busy slate of games next weekend.
