Sam Pittman’s Arkansas Razorbacks fell to the Texas A&M Aggies, 42-31, on Halloween in College Station, while Jeremy Pruitt’s Tennessee Volunteers were idle.

These two programs are set to meet on Saturday in Fayetteville, and ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) released their updated projection for the clash on Sunday, giving Arkansas a 52.8 percent chance to prevail victorious.

Here is a quick reminder of what the FPI is:

“The FPI is a measure of team strength meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance moving forward.

“FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 20,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.

“FPI data from seasons prior to 2019 may not be complete.”

This will be the first meeting between the two schools since October 3, 2015. Although Tennessee holds a 13-5 edge in the series, the Razorbacks have won two-straight.

Saturday’s action will kick at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
