ESPN FPI rankings have been updated following a stunning Week 6 in college football. No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 9 Mizzou, No. 10 Michigan and No. 11 USC all suffered losses on Saturday, and No. 8 Miami needed a wild comeback to avoid an upset loss at Cal.

Despite Alabama losing to unranked Vanderbilt, though, the Crimson Tide only fell from No. 2 to No. 3 in the ESPN Football Power Index (FPI) rankings.

As you can see below, Alabama still ranks third, with Texas at No. 1, Ohio State at No. 2, Georgia at No. 4 and No. 5 Ole Miss rounding out the top 5.

Here’s a look at the full top 25 FPI rankings, which include an impressive 11 schools from the SEC:

  1. Texas
  2. Ohio State
  3. Alabama
  4. Georgia
  5. Ole Miss
  6. Tennessee
  7. Notre Dame
  8. Oregon
  9. Penn State
  10. Miami
  11. Clemson
  12. Texas A&M
  13. USC
  14. Indiana
  15. LSU
  16. Louisville
  17. Oklahoma
  18. SMU
  19. Iowa State
  20. Boise State
  21. Kansas State
  22. Mizzou
  23. Tulane
  24. Arkansas
  25. Kentucky

It seems as if the top teams are hard to move too much in the FPI rankings. Tennessee only fell 1 spot, too, despite losing at Arkansas.

The Hogs, on the other hand, jumped 3 spots following the win over the Vols.

The next 2 weekends have some incredible games on the slate. We’ll see what happens with the FPI rankings over the next couple of Sundays.
