ESPN getting crushed on social media for Shea Patterson NFL comparison
By Andrew Olson
Published:
With ESPN covering the Florida-Michigan game, the World Wide Leader is hyping up the Gators and Wolverines. Sometimes, the analysts provide valuable. Other times, the broadcast gets eye rolls from the audience, which is what happened when Michigan QB Shea Patterson was compared to Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes.
Here’s a small sampling of the social media reaction:
Listen, I like Shea Patterson and his potential a lot more than most people do, but the Mahomes comp?

Love the announcers comparing Shea Patterson to Pat Mahomes. Seems a bit excessive.
