New details on Maria Taylor’s future at ESPN

Published:

Maria Taylor’s time at ESPN was set to conclude this week but it appears she may be sticking around — at least, for a few more days.

That’s according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post who is reporting that Taylor’s contract at ESPN expired on Tuesday.

Instead of leaving ABC/ESPN in the middle of the 2021 NBA Finals, which Taylor is working for the network, Taylor is reportedly staying on to finish out the series.

Marchand is also reporting that NBC is attempting to hire Taylor away from ESPN. NBC owns the rights to the Olympics and NFL coverage that Taylor could call for the network.

Taylor began her career at ESPN working for the SEC Network.
