Year 2 of the Lane Kiffin era in Oxford will start with a nationally televised audience.

That’s the latest from Ole Miss as the Rebels have just announced that the 2021 season opener on Monday, Sept. 6 against Louisville will kickoff at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The game is set to be played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Ole Miss and Louisville have never played in football.

The Rebels went 5-5 in Kiffin’s debut season in Oxford, which included a win over Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl and a win over Indiana in the Outbowl Bowl.
