Alabama is No. 1 in the country according to the AP and Coaches polls, and so the Tide remain atop ESPN’s updated SEC power rankings following Week 2 action.
Not surprisingly, the SEC West dominates the updated rankings, with four teams from the division taking the top four spots:
- Alabama
- Texas A&M
- Ole Miss
- Arkansas
- Florida
- Tennessee
- Georgia
- Auburn
- LSU
- Mississippi State
- Missouri
- South Carolina
- Vanderbilt
- Kentucky
Florida, Tennessee and Georgia are the class of the SEC East, but only make up the fifth through seventh spots in the rankings.
Following a lopsided loss to Florida, Kentucky has the dishonor of bringing up the rear in the 14th spot.
