ESPN reporters update College Football Playoff picks after Week 4

There is no debate about which team is college football’s best. As Alabama continues to win convincingly week after week, putting up a minimum of 45 points per game, it is clear that Nick Saban’s is the No. 1 team without question.

Beyond that, the majority of experts agree that Georgia and Clemson are the next two best teams. The Bulldogs and Tigers have occupied the Nos. 2 and 3 rankings in the Associated Press Top 25, with UGA moving up in Week 4.

Where there is actually debate: Will two SEC teams make the College Football Playoff again?

ESPN asked its four primary college football reporters to share their CFP picks after following Week 4. All four agree that three teams are in: Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State.

Three think that Georgia will get in despite the Bulldogs appearing to play their way into an Alabama rematch in Atlanta this December. Edward Aschoff, however, thinks Oklahoma grabs the fourth spot with UGA on the outside looking in.
