ESPN’s updated FPI top 25 rankings no longer have Alabama in the No. 1 spot after the Crimson Tide lost at Tennessee on Saturday.
However, with Ohio State at No. 1 now, Alabama only fell to No. 2, still ahead of unbeaten SEC teams Georgia and Tennessee.
As you can see below, the Crimson Tide’s loss only dropped them 1 spot, while Tennessee’s win only bumped it up 1 place to No. 6:
- Ohio State
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Michigan
- Texas
- Tennessee
- Clemson
- Ole Miss
- Utah
- USC
- LSU
- Oregon
- TCU
- Penn State
- Oklahoma State
- Mississippi State
- Minnesota
- Baylor
- UCF
- Maryland
- Notre Dame
- Texas A&M
- Kansas State
- Syracuse
- Florida State
Will Tennessee get more respect if it wins against UT-Martin next weekend? Can Alabama retake the No. 1 spot if it beats Mississippi State?
We’ll see how the FPI rankings look following Week 8 action.
