It’s that time of year where college football’s contenders are separated from the pretenders. For fans of those contenders, it’s the time of year they get rankings fever.

Starting Tuesday night, the College Football Playoff selection committee’s rankings become the only rankings that matter. Still, fans will get rankings from traditional polls (Coaches Poll, Associated Press Top 25) as well as outlet/writer rankings like the ESPN Power Rankings. Every fan base is looking at how their team is ranked heading into the final few weeks of the 2019 regular season.

Mark Schlabach has authored ESPN’s post-Week 10 Power Rankings. Five SEC teams make the top 25, including three teams that were in action on Saturday. LSU (No. 1) and Alabama (No. 3) were both off on Saturday.

Schlabach has Georgia as his second highest-ranked one-loss team, behind No. 6 Oregon, after UGA’s 24-17 win over Florida in Jacksonville. The Gators, meanwhile, are at No. 12 after falling to 7-2. Auburn checks in at No. 13, also 7-2 after a home win over Ole Miss.

  • No. 1 LSU
  • No. 3 Alabama
  • No. 7 Georgia
  • No. 12 Florida
  • No. 13 Auburn
