Miami, ESPN is headed your way.

On Saturday night, ESPN announced that its traveling pregame show, College GameDay, will broadcast live from the University of Miami next Saturday when the Hurricanes (3-0) host Florida (1-2). This will be GameDay’s first visit to Hard Rock Stadium for a Miami home game since Sept. 26, 2020.

The Hurricanes hosted Florida State that day. They won 52-10.

Given the state of the Gator program, a similar result could be in the cards.

Miami rolled South Florida on Saturday, 49-12. A lengthy delay didn’t dampen the Canes, who got 340 passing yards and 3 scores from quarterback Carson Beck and 120 rushing yards with 2 scores from Mark Fletcher Jr.

The 37-point beatdown of the Bulls came just a week after South Florida went to Gainesville and beat the Gators on a walk-off, 20-yard field goal.

Florida lost to LSU in Baton Rouge on Saturday, 20-10. Gator quarterback DJ Lagway threw 5 interceptions in the loss.

This will be Miami’s ninth time hosting GameDay. It will be the Hurricanes’ 27th overall appearance.

GameDay was in Knoxville in Week 3 for the Georgia-Tennessee game. Next Saturday will mark the fourth straight week an SEC team has been featured on the show.
