It’s almost time for kickoff in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State.

A champion will be crowned tonight in Miami, but ahead of the game, ESPN’s College GameDay crew of Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Lee Corso made their predictions for who would win. Kirk Herbstreit will call the game, so he didn’t make a pick.

As you can see below, there wasn’t a consensus on the big game:

  • Howard: Alabama
  • Pollack: Alabama
  • Corso: Ohio State

Corso’s headgear picks started when he donned the Ohio State mascot head a number of years ago, so he’s staying true to his roots.

Will he be right? Or, will Alabama make Pollack and Howard look smart? Tune into ESPN now to find out.
