Wild speculation is part of the fun of college football. ESPN delivered some of its own Wednesday as five writers made their own bold SEC predictions for the second half of the season.

Edward Aschoff claimed Alabama true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts will play his way into being a Heisman Trophy finalist as the Crimson Tide hits the meat of its SEC schedule.

David Ching foresees Florida losing at least one more SEC game, opening the door for Tennessee to win the SEC East.

Sam Khan Jr. articulated why he thinks Arkansas will win all of its remaining regular-season games, while Greg Ostendorf said he thinks Auburn will do the same until falling to Alabama in the Iron Bowl. Finally, Alex Scarborough made a case for Alabama to finish the year with three 1,000-yard rushers.
