Mississippi State pulled off a huge win over LSU Saturday, and it looks like that victory could propel the Bulldogs into serious contention for the SEC Championship.
According to ESPN, MSU now has the second best shot at winning the SEC. It will come as no surprise that Alabama is still the heavy favorite to win the SEC, but MSU should not be overlooked.
The Bulldogs are led by a dynamic, dual-threat QB in Nick Fitzgerald who is a special player. He is already responsible for 783 yards of total offense and 12 TDs in just three games. MSU still has a tough road ahead in the SEC, but the sky is the limit for head coach Dan Mullen and his squad.
