Alabama is 5-0 and shows no signs of slowing down.
The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll and have won their last two games by a combined score of 125-3. The offense has scored 41 or more points in four straight games while the defense is allowing 8.6 points a game this season.
ESPN’s Football Power Index also has Alabama at No. 1 following its dominant stretch, and it is possible that the Tide could go undefeated in the regular season.
FPI gives the Crimson Tide a 47.9% chance of winning out the rest of the way. The toughest remaining game for Alabama looks to be the Iron Bowl when the Tide will take on Auburn on the road.
FPI still favors Alabama with a 74.6% chance of a Tide victory in the rivalry matchup with Auburn. The next toughest matchup for the Tide is projected to be their trip to take on Mississippi State in Starkville. Alabama is given an 89.4% chance of knocking off the Bulldogs on the road.
Alabama is given a greater than 90% chance of winning its games against A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, and Mercer. The Tide will need to stay focused to avoid an upset, but they have an incredible shot at heading into the SEC Championship Game with an undefeated record.
