ESPN’s FPI predicts outcome of Alabama’s remaining games

The college football world will be watching Alabama in 2020.
After a “down year” by their standards that featured their first 2-loss campaign since 2014, the Crimson Tide are off to a strong start this year, going 2-0 and outscoring opponents 90-43.
Mac Jones is torching teams through the air, and there’s no sign of slowing this offense down either.
Early on, at least, it looks as though Nick Saban’s team is gearing up for yet another SEC championship and an 18th national title. And according to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the chances of them running the table in this year’s 10-game schedule is very high.
Here is how ESPN projects the rest of the games this year for the Tide:
- Oct. 10 at Ole Miss: 92.6 percent
- Oct. 17 vs. No. 3 Georgia: 65.5 percent
- Oct. 24 at No. 14 Tennessee: 88.6 percent
- Oct. 31 vs. Mississippi State: 95.1 percent
- Nov. 14 at No. 17 LSU: 77.4 percent
- Nov. 21 vs. Kentucky: 94.2 percent
- Nov. 28 vs. No. 13 Auburn: 81.7 percent
- Dec. 5 at Arkansas: 94.9 percent
The key game to watch may be against No. 3 Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Oct. 17, very likely to be one of the biggest games on the regular-season college football schedule year, if not the biggest.
