On Paul Finebaum’s show on Tuesday, former Alabama QB Greg McElroy was asked about the LSU coaching job.

The current ESPN analyst said he holds the position in high regards, calling it “a top-five job in college football.” He added that it may be even better than that:

Interim coach Ed Orgeron will most likely be considered for the job, but other top names in the college football world are expected to draw the school’s interest, too.

Coach O can make a strong case for himself by finishing the season with two more wins and winning the Tigers’ bowl game.
