ESPN’s SP+ predicts final score of Ole Miss-Tulane Playoff game

Ole Miss will take on Tulane in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Saturday in Oxford.
This game is one of a kind. Not only are Ole Miss and Tulane facing each other for the second time this season, but both teams also have coaches who have already left or are planning to leave. For Ole Miss, this is the first time all season that Lane Kiffin won’t be their head coach on the sidelines. Pete Golding is now the new head coach for the Rebels.
For Tulane, while Jon Sumrall is still there and will coach through the playoffs, he’s also leaving to become the next head coach at Florida. The new head coach of Ole Miss will be facing the new head coach of Florida in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
ESPN’s SP+ predicts that Ole Miss will come out victorious by a score of 39-21. Most sports betting apps have Ole Miss favored by 17.5 points as of this writing.
Ole Miss and Tulane met earlier this season in a game the Rebels won 45-10. Trinidad Chambliss had a huge game as he threw for 307 yards on 27 attempts and also added more than 100 rushing yards in a winning effort.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
