ESPN’s SP+ has predicted the final score of Texas A&M‘s Week 5 home SEC showdown against Auburn.

The game would’ve been a matchup of ranked teams had Auburn beaten Oklahoma last week, but the Tigers fell in Norman and now will have their second tough SEC road matchup in as many weeks when they head to College Station to face the 9th-ranked Aggies.

Not surprisingly, the game will be on national TV, with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN. Auburn will be trying to get to 4-1 and even its SEC mark after that loss at Oklahoma, and Mike Elko‘s team will be trying to get to 4-0 as it plays its SEC opener after a bye week.

ESPN’s SP+ is now available for the Week 5 matchups and that model is projecting Texas A&M to hold serve at rocking Kyle Field and outlast Auburn, 29-24.

Here’s that prediction along with the rest of the Week 5 slate:

Texas A&M holds a narrow 8-7 lead over Auburn in the all-time series, and the Aggies will be out for revenge after losing on the Plains last season. Auburn won that thriller last November in 4 overtimes, something Elko’s program probably hasn’t forgotten as it tries to strengthen its hold on a place in the AP top 10.

To do that, the Aggies will have to take care of the Tigers this time around.
