Evan Boehm has returned to Missouri. The former Mizzou lineman has joined the Tigers’ support staff, Eli Drinkwitz announced Thursday.

Boehm will work with the recruiting and player development staff as assistant director of recruiting/player relations.

“When you have an opportunity to bring a notable Mizzou alum from the state of Missouri on staff, that’s something you jump at,” Drinkwitz said in a program release. “Evan was a part of two of the best teams in our program history before playing at the highest level of football. He’ll bring us a unique skillset in recruiting and player development.”

A native of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Boehm played for the Tigers from 2012-to-2015. Boehm was a Freshman all-American at guard in 2012. He moved to center ahead of the 2013 season, helping MU to back-to-back SEC East division titles.

Boehm was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Playing both guard and center, Boehm made 55 regular-season appearances, including 21 starts. Boehm was in the league until 2021.

Mizzou’s 2024 recruiting class currently has 11 commitments and is ranked No. 56 nationally on the 247Sports Composite. The Tigers’ 2023 class of 27 signees (19 from high school, 8 transfers) finished with a Composite ranking of No. 34.
