Evan Engram has agreed to a contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to a report.
The former Ole Miss tight end agreed to a 3-year, $41.25 million deal, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
Engram’s new deal includes $24 million in guaranteed money that will be paid out over the next 2 seasons, according to the report.

Because Engram was franchise-tagged earlier this offseason, any longterm extension would have needed to be signed before the NFL’s deadline on Monday.
The new contract follows a career-best season for Engram, who has become one of the NFL’s most consistent tight ends. In 2022, he caught 73 passes for 766 yards and 4 touchdowns. Those receptions and yardage marks represent career-highs for Engram.
This past season was Engram’s first in Jacksonville after playing for the New York Giants for the first 5 seasons of his career.
Entering the 2023 season, Engram has made just shy of $26 million in his career, according to Spotrac.
Engram will turn 29 years old in September. He has 335 catches, 3,594 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in his career.
