Shane Beamer and South Carolina must look down the barrel of another loss after the Texas A&M game.

The Gamecocks lost 30-17 after nearly pulling off a comeback that fell apart in the fourth quarter.

Much like all season, Beamer addressed list of injuries from the Texas A&M game. Trai Jones had a high ankle sprain, Trey Knox suffered a hamstring injury, and Xavier Legette had an ankle get rolled up on.

Bryan Thomas dislocated his finger during the game, but it was eventually popped back into place, and he returned to the field.

Beamer also talked about the punt returner rotation. Jalon Kilgore started to earn reps at practice at punt returner. Ahmarean Brown wasn’t able to play in the game, and Luke Doty apparently also looked natural catching punts in Beamer’s eyes.

Spencer Rattler was flagged for some intentional grounding penalties during the loss. Beamer addressed the penalties by talking about how South Carolina can’t help the Texas A&M defense with things like that. He said it was unfortunate because the receivers Rattler was trying to throw to were caught up in coverage and couldn’t get close to the area.

Lastly, Beamer told his team that there was no other program he would rather be the coach of in America. He also updated the status of O’Donell Fortune, who Beamer said was suspended during the first half due to a violation of athletic department policy.

Here’s everything that Beamer said after the loss:
