Former Florida Gators All-American tight end Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Odin Lloyd, whose body was found in a Massachusetts industrial park in June 2013.
According to the AP, Hernandez, guilty on all counts, was emotionless when the verdict was read. He will face mandatory life without the possibility of parole.

Hernandez’s defense team said the former New England Patriots star witnessed the killing, but did not participate in the shooting. After 35 hours of deliberation, the jury found that was not the case.
Evidence from the Lloyd case led to two more murder charges against Hernandez in Boston.
