Fan apologizes after wishing death on LSU coach Les Miles

College football fans are passionate, but sometimes that passion can go too far. That was the case after LSU’s season-opening loss to Wisconsin, when a fan sent an email to coach Les Miles wishing death upon him.
That fan has since apologized to the embattled LSU coach, according to The Advocate:

Of course, the original report by The Advocate states that there were racist undertones involving QB Brandon Harris involved in the email, which don’t seem to be addressed in the apology.
Perhaps a follow-up email to Harris would be appropriate, too.
