Fans flame Spectrum for surprise blackout of Florida-Utah season opener

Spectrum customers aren’t too happy right now. According to multiple fans across the country, Thursday night’s season opener between Florida and Utah is blacked out with the cable service. Even worse? The blackout (with the below message) popped up as the game was starting.

As you can imagine, fans aren’t too happy about this. A few fans took to social media to flame the company for showing a message that says they tried to work it out with Disney, but were left no choice and have halted all ESPN broadcasts on their service.

We’re sure that excuse will go over well.

For what it’s worth, Utah leads Florida 7-3 with under 5 minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Gators secondary got torched early on a strong throw from backup QB Bryson Barnes. Cam Rising, as expected, will not play Thursday night.
