When it comes to the best places to live in SEC country, you can’t do much better than Fayetteville.

You don’t have to take our word for it as Fayetteville ranks No. 4 among the best places to live in the U.S. in 2021-2022 according to U.S. News.

Fayetteville’s ranking was the highest among all SEC cities.

To come up with their rankings, U.S. News used the following methodology: “To make the top of the list, a place had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market and a high quality of life.”

Here are the SEC cities that made the list, which rated the top 150 cities in America:

#4 Fayetteville, Arkansas

#30 Nashville, Tennessee

#33 Lexington, Kentucky

#41 Knoxville, Tennessee

#54 Columbia, South Carolina

#107 Baton Rouge, Louisiana
