Finebaum, Booger McFarland disagree on whether Auburn or Georgia should be ranked higher

The Georgia Bulldogs will be ranked No. 1 no longer.
The Auburn Tigers hammered the Bulldogs Saturday 40-17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium, creating more buzz for the upcoming Iron Bowl against Alabama.
The question becomes now: how far does Auburn rise in the rankings, and how far does Georgia fall?
ESPN analysts Paul Finebaum and Booger McFarland joined SportsCenter Sunday morning to discuss that very topic, and the two disagreed on where both teams should be ranked. Finebaum thinks Auburn should be ranked over UGA after Saturday.
“Georgia’s win over Notre Dame no longer looks like the greatest win the committee made it out to be,” Finebaum said. “I think you have to look at what Auburn’s done. They beat the No. 1 team in the country. I would have Auburn over Georgia. They’re not in the top four, but they’re right outside.”
Finebaum added, “The committee got burned for ranking Georgia No. 1 in the country.”
McFarland disagrees with Finebaum, as he thinks Georgia should be ranked higher than Auburn even though the Tigers blew out the Bulldogs Saturday. He even dropped his top four of No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Miami, No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 4 Clemson.
“Even though Auburn beat Georgia, I’d still have Georgia above,” he said.
Tuesday night’s College Football Playoff rankings are sure to look much different with No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 Notre Dame losing.
