Firing imminent? Power 5 program calls special Athletic Association board meeting for Monday, per report

Firing season is already here in college football, with Nebraska’s Scott Frost and Arizona State’s Herm Edwards getting the ax in the Power 5 ranks so far in 2022.
Could another Power 5 job come open as soon as Monday? That could be the case as we start a new week.
Per a report from Pat Smith, Georgia Tech’s Athletic Association board will meet on Monday afternoon. Presumably on the agenda? The future of football coach Geoff Collins:
Georgia Tech's Athletic Association board has called a special meeting for Monday afternoon. Geoff Collins is 10-28 at Tech since his hire in 2019. The AD and Collins are squarely on the hot seat.

Collins’ tenure hasn’t gone as expected in Atlanta. Last week, the Yellow Jackets lost 42-0 at home against Ole Miss. In Week 4, they fell at UCF to drop to 1-3 on the season.
Deion Sanders has been mentioned by some as a name to watch if Georgia Tech does soon have an opening. We’ll see what happens as the coaching carousel continues to spin.
