FIU player masterfully trolls Miami following Hurricanes embarrassing loss

Miami, like Texas, isn’t back.
The Hurricanes suffered one of the most embarrassing losses in program history Saturday night as the FIU Panthers pulled the stunning 30-24 upset. This is one of the lowest points in a very prideful and storied program.
Butch Davis, who used to be Miami’s coach, is the head coach at FIU, and the venue was literally the site of the old Orange Bowl. This is what rock bottom looks like, Miami.
Following the game, FIU linebacker Sage Lewis masterfully trolled the Canes.
“We wasn’t even calling them the University of Miami during the week,” FIU linebacker Sage Lewis said. “We were calling them the University of Coral Gables. We’re the true Miami school. We have more students internationally. We did it for the university and really for the world.”

The University of Coral Cables does have a nice ring to it.
Seriously, Miami may not return to prominence anytime soon, as Manny Diaz has a tough rebuilding job ahead of him. Miami doesn’t have one percent of the swag or talent as it did when Jerome Brown and the Canes came out in army fatigues.
