Whether Alabama’s national championship victory made an impact in this development is unknown, but it surely will as National Signing Day approaches.

Five-star linebacker Mique Juarez, ranked as the No. 2 outside linebacker in the Class of 2016, originally had Ole Miss and UCLA as his top two schools of choice. However, he’s now added Alabama as a potential destination, according to SEC Country.

The Crimson Tide has a big chance to woo the prospect on Jan. 22, when Juarez makes an official visit to Tuscaloosa.

The 6-foot-2, 231-pounder, also rated as the No. 16 overall prospect, will announce his decision on National Signing Day.
