Wilson, who stands at a formidable 6-foot-7, 350 pounds, is the No. 7 player at his position from the 2017 recruiting class and is the top prospect from New York, per 247Sports. He picked the Bulldogs over Michigan, Alabama, Rutgers, and roughly 25 other competing offers after making an official visit to Athens on Dec. 9.
That makes 20 commits for coach Kirby Smart, whose 2017 class continues to prove superior with the rest of the SEC (outside of Alabama). The current group ranks No. 3 in the nation behind the Crimson Tide and Ohio State.
