Florida becomes offer No. 16 for the talented Los Angeles, CA recruit. Johnson (6-foot-5, 210 pounds) currently ranks as 4-star athlete and is the No. 318 overall player in his class, per 247Sports. Though his crystal ball predicts he’ll end up committing to Nebraska, he certainly sounds thrilled to have an offer from the Gators.

As a junior in 2015, Johnson recorded 52 tackles, a sack and three pass deflections in eight games as an all-purpose player.
Florida currently has two linebacker commitments for the ’17 class in 3-star prospects Ventrell Miller and James Houston, but Johnson’s talent and versatility would be a welcome addition.
