Florida managed to win the SEC East last season without having the elite homefield advantage that The Swamp provides.

Just imagine what the Gators will accomplish once Ben Hill Griffin Stadium returns to full capacity crowds.

According to Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin, that’s exactly what fans can expect in the fall.

During a recent appearance at Florida’s Eye Opener Discovery Breakfast on Wednesday, Stricklin noted that the school is anticipating full capacity crowds at sporting events this fall, according to Sara Cardona of CBS4 News Gainesville.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium’s official capacity is listed at 88,548, but Florida did manage to squeeze 90,584 into the stadium back in 2019 for the Auburn game. Following that game, the Gator faithful was praised for playing a factor in Florida’s 24-13 win.

With six home games on Florida’s schedule for 2020 — including matchups against Alabama, Tennessee and Florida State — it’s safe to say The Swamp will do its part to help the Gators go 6-0 at home this season.
